Words About Us
The Friends of Raccoon Creek State Park is a 501(c)(3) certified non-profit organization that focuses on providing volunteer assistance to the management of Raccoon Creek State Park in Beaver County, PA. The group was first established in 1999 and is comprised solely of dedicated park volunteers.
Our purpose is to promote environmental education programs, maintain and conserve historical attributes and park assets, and encourage individuals to use the park for recreational activities.

PROGRAMS AND EVENTS
Over 200 programs are done annually for groups at Raccoon Creek State Park. The Environmental Education Staff offers a wide variety of environmental education and outdoor recreational programming for all types of groups.
School groups, scouts, clubs, churches, hunting associations, and everyone in between are welcome to contact us about nature hikes, wildflower walks, teacher workshops, historic tours, animal tracking, bird watching, kayaking, geocaching, fishing, merit badge programs, geology and many others.
