Our purpose is to promote environmental education programs, outdoor recreation, maintenance of historical attributes, conservation of park assets and to encourage people to use the park for recreational activities.
Spring is Here!
The Wildflower Reserve of Raccoon Creek State Park has over 700 species of plants and some of the most spectacular spring and late summer wildflower.

Is your group looking for an outdoor or environmental education program?
Over 200 programs are done annually for groups at Raccoon Creek State Park! The Environmental Education Staff offers a wide variety of environmental education and outdoor recreational programming for all types of groups.  Book your program for mid September  to November.
School groups, scouts, clubs, churches, hunting associations, and everyone in between are welcome to contact us about nature hikes, wildflower walks, teacher workshops, historic tours, animal tracking, bird watching, kayaking, geocaching, fishing, merit badge programs, geology and many others.
